Whether sun or rain: the Maxhütte is a "quickly" accessible and rustic destination - perfect for bad weather days or for a break from long hikes.
It takes you about 25 minutes by car from Zell to the Nature Park House in Ginzling. The beautifully painted sign shows the hut nestled in the magnificent mountain panorama of the Gunggltal. The signpost is located shortly after the Nature Park House in Ginzling - on the left side of the road, where you follow the signpost for about an hour up to the Maxhütte.
